Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how InfluQ (“InfluQ”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information when you use influq.com and our Service. By using the Service, you consent to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account information: your name, email address, and authentication data when you sign up (including via Google sign-in).
  • Profile & onboarding data: creator type, niche, goals, and the answers you provide in strategy questionnaires and daily reflections.
  • YouTube data: if you connect your channel, we access channel statistics and analytics via the YouTube Data and Analytics APIs, and store an encrypted refresh token to sync your data. We request read-only scopes.
  • Usage data: how you interact with the Service, device and log information.
  • Payment information: processed by our payment provider (Razorpay). We receive confirmation and subscription status but do not store your full card details.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, operate, personalize, and improve the Service;
  • To generate AI outputs (strategies, scripts, topic suggestions, coaching) tailored to you;
  • To process payments, manage subscriptions, and prevent fraud;
  • To communicate with you about your account, updates, and support;
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

3. AI Processing

To generate outputs, relevant inputs (such as your topic, profile, strategy answers, and reflections) may be sent to third-party AI providers, including Google (Gemini) and OpenAI, which process the data to return a response. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it to train third-party models beyond what is necessary to provide the response, per those providers' terms.

4. YouTube API Services

The Service uses YouTube API Services. By connecting your channel you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and your data is handled in accordance with the Google Privacy Policy. We only access read-only channel and analytics data to power your dashboards. You can revoke our access at any time via the Google security settings page. We do not share your YouTube data with unrelated third parties, and we retain it only as long as your channel is connected.

5. How We Share Information

We share information only with service providers that help us operate the Service, and only as needed:

  • Infrastructure & database: Supabase (auth & database), Vercel (hosting).
  • AI providers: Google, OpenAI (for generating outputs).
  • Payments: Razorpay.
  • Legal: when required by law, regulation, or to protect our rights and users.

We do not sell your personal information.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, row-level security on the database, and encryption of sensitive tokens (such as your YouTube refresh token) at rest. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

8. Cookies & Tracking

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to operate the Service. We may use limited analytics to understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may affect functionality.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location (including under the EU GDPR and India's DPDP Act), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, email support@influq.com. You may also revoke YouTube/Google access via your Google account.

10. Children

The Service is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. International Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be notified via the Service or email, and the “Last updated” date above will change.
